High Springs FL. is small historical town just north of Gainsville FL. Esablished in 1880 and shorty after recognized as a important center for the South Florida Division of the railroad. It is a place full of heritage and people willing to lend a helping hand.
Today it is known for it's many antique shops and craft stores as well as a great launching point for all of your Sante Fe River excursions. Including a dive shop, canoe outpost with pickup, and many different springs within a 10 mile drive. Such as Poe Springs, Blue Springs, Ginnie Springs, O'leno State Park, and Hornsby Springs at Camp kulaqua .
Pioneer Days are another attraction here. With a large car show, Art and Crafts venders, Western reenactments, and plenty of fun for the whole family.
